Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Drive to Tarangire National Park

Pick-up from Arusha town, Arusha Airport (ARK), Usa River or African View Lodge and proceed to Tarangire National Park for an afternoon game drive.
Accommodation: Tarangire View Tented Lodge. (-/L/D)

Day 2: Taranigre National Park

Full day game drives in Tarangire NP, where huge Baobab trees provide a spectacular background. The Tarangire River and the swamps in the southern part of the park attract plenty of game, especially during the dry season. The park is particularly famous for its large herds of elephants which carry impressive tusks. During your game drive, you will also have the chance to see the Giraffes, Lions, Zebras, and other well-known wildlife but also more rare species, such as Bat Eared Foxes and, Rock Pythons.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park / Departure

As the first light of dawn spreads across the savannah, you’ll set off on another game drive. The air is cool and fresh, with animals slowly awakening or returning from their night hunt. Elephants march to the river, and antelope graze in the golden light. Birdsong fills the air, and the rising sun casts long shadows across the landscape, highlighting the silhouettes of ancient baobab trees. With fewer vehicles on the move, the atmosphere is peaceful and intimate—the perfect time to experience the rhythm of the wild and begin a new day.
You’ll return to Arusha around midday. Proceed to Arusha Airport for departure or an optional Zanzibar extension. (B/L/-)
